Our Annual Church Conference with the District Superintendent is set for Thursday, November 3 at 5:30 pm. In preparation for that, several things need to happen, so I am scheduling the following meetings…

Tuesday, October 18 at 3pm – The Pastor-Parish Committee needs to meet to, among other things, make recommendations to the Finance Committee about salaries of the pastor and church secretary for 2023. All meetings of the Pastor-Parish Committee are confidential and open to the committee members only. However, if you have any suggestions or input, please feel free to talk with any committee member prior to that meeting.  The committee members are Bill Mitchell, Kerry Mitchell, Stella Cain, Faye Willmore, Linda Prill, Ann Hughes, Bill Draper and Tye Walker.

Wednesday, October 19 at 3pm – The Finance Committee must meet to act on the salary recommendations and set the Budget for 2023, to be presented to the Church Conference. Members are Bill Russell (Chair), Bill Mitchell, Ron Rakaska, John Willmore, and Jim Eberly.

Friday, October 21 at 3pm – the Church Council will meet for routine business and to take action on the recommended budget, as well as other business related to the Church Conference.  The Church Council is open to all members of the church!

Next year is the first full year with your part-time pastor. These meetings are extremely important as we prepare for ministry in 2023. PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND ALL THOSE MEETINGS IF YOU ARE A PART OF THAT COMMITTEE.
